Christmas in Harrisburg, PA

Hi ho and out the door we go. I did not want to spend Christmas at home. I love to travel and it’s been a while since our family has gone on a road trip together; so Harrisburg Pennsylvania, you’re it.

I love road trips. Driving through the countryside, enjoying breathtaking sceneries, the rolling hillside, fresh clean air, and winding roads through the mountains, ah! I love it.

After a 7.5 hour drive we arrived at our destination; the Candlewood Suites. We checked in and proceeded to our room which was magnificent by the way. There were two queen beds, a full size fridge, dishwasher, microwave,  kettle,  stove, and cup boards with dishes. There’s also a hairdryer, ironing board, iron and laundry basket.

After settling in we decided to check out the place a bit. Our first stop was the beautiful indoor swimming  pool and whirlpool hot tub. Tempting I must say, can’t wait to try it out. Will be very therapeutic for my sore body.

There was a 24hr business centre, a lending locker stocked with movies, pots, pans, toaster ovens, crock pots etc etc. There was also on site laundry facilities, a fitness center, breakfast cupboard, and a covered gazebo outside with a bbq grill.

Heading back to my room I just knew this was going to be a fantastic trip.
