DIY Body Butter

A simple and easy recipe for healthy skin and happy health!


INGREDIENTS:

  • 1/2 cup Shea Butter

  • 1/2 cup Coconut oil

  • 1/4 cup Cocoa Butter

  • 1 Tbsp Carrot oil

  • 1 Tbsp Olive oil

  • 1 Capsule Vitamin E oil

  • 2 Tbsp Beeswax

  • Essential oil of your choice

  • Fragrance oil of your choice


METHOD

  1. Melt beeswax, coconut oil, cocoa butter and Shea butter in microwave at 30 second intervals until melted or use a double boiler.

  2. Stir mixture in between intervals.

  3. When completely melted, add other oils except the essential and fragrance oils.

  4. Allow to cool to semi solid state. Alternatively, you can place it in the freezer for 15 minutes!!

  5. Whip with hand mixer when semi solid until creamy.

  6. Add desired fragrance and essential oils.

  7. Whip again for 5 seconds and then place in a sterilized glass jar.
